When the jumps get higher there will be a diagonal pole placed under each horizontal jump bar, more horizontal jump bars may be added as the jump gets higher. There will be NO ground pole in front of each jump in Six Bar.
Six Bar is based on the horse winning with the least faults and highest jump. If after the first round there are horses that have completed with zero faults the jumps will be raised by 2inches each jump. The jumping will continue eliminating exhibits until there is an overall winner.
Horses with equal faults will jump the round again at the height of faulted round (eg height will not be raised). If an exhibit is eliminated in a round of a jump off, it can never finish in a lower place than exhibits eliminated in an earlier round.
In the event of a refusal or a run out, the competitor must restart the course at the obstacle where the fault was made.
Upon judge’s discretion she/he may request the first 3 jumps to be removed if the rounds are continuing too long and feels it’s in the best interests of both the horse and competitor.
Judge’s decision is final.
Scoring
